What began as a small catering business has grown
to include full event coordination and production, as well as custom floral design.
I (Lisa Somera) am the founder of LOLA Catering + Events,
with a background in architecture, restaurant mangagement, and free-lance catering. My
husband, Nathan, is our most valuable "staff person," calling on his architect vision to help me work
out table set up, traffic flow, lighting and even helping with heavy lifting!
In addition to the two of us, LOLA Catering + Events has some of the most fantastic staff ever!
Denise is our event manager. She has been with us
for over two years and is a master at running an event from start to finish.
Caleb, is our chef. Trained at the Cordon Bleu and with several years restaurant experience, he
is truly talented and I learn something new from him everyday.
Jose is a true professional
waiter/bartender. TABC certified, he heads our team of bartenders and provides impeccable table dinner service.
The bulk of our staff is made of bright, young, smart and energetic people - college students, professional
waiters, etc.
LOLA Catering + Events has been creating amazing experiences for
special event for the past three years! We have grown from handling only one major event per month to handling two big
events at a time, several times a month!
We maintain a boutique approach
to our catered events by getting to know each client personally. We conduct intimate menu tastings and hold
on-site meetings to make sure we are creating the special event that each client is looking for, whether a wedding, a 50th
anniversary or a bar mitzvah celebration. We approach each event with a genuine interest
in the vision of the host, a quest for a clean, modern presentation, and a desire to create a truly unique and memorable event.
Personalization is our trademark. We find that each event brings us new friends and new experiences.
